We are just under two weeks from taking our first STAAR test. Wednesday, April 10th from 11:30 - 12:00, we will have an informational session about the tests and give you an opportunity to write a note of encouragement to be placed on your child's desk before they test each day. Our students love getting these notes and knowing you are thinking of them through their test. Please plan to attend this quick meeting and bring your lunch!

Wednesday is a regular school day for Stanton Elementary. We will have regular dismissal at 3:50.

I know we are a few days early with our April 1 newsletter, but it is jam packed with information and so we wanted to go ahead and get it out. Also, a friendly reminder that all students dismiss at 1:00 tomorrow (unless have Wednesday school) and then we do not have school on Friday and Monday.

Stanton ISD will not have school on Wednesday 1-31-24 per the school calendar. Tuesday and Thursday will be regular school days and Friday we will dismiss at our regular 3:00 time.

Monday will kick off two fun challenges for students of Stanton Elementary. We are bringing back the snowball fundraiser for our activity fund. Students can bring money to buy a snowballs for 25 cents to help their class win a party. Additionally, your child will be bringing home money for the American Heart Challenge with the American Heart Association. We strongly encourage you to do all donations through their website. We will have an assembly when this challenge is over to recognize those who raise funds for this important cause. Friday will be our 100th day of school for the 23-24 school year. We hope you will join us by dressing either as an 100 year old, or a shirt or outfit to commemorate the day!
Thank you for your continued support. We raised over $400 with our "pie the administrators" to buy books for our teacher's classrooms!

Don't forget that family night is tonight for the book fair and a gallery walk of your student's classwork. Teachers will be in halls to help guide you, while book fair will be set up in the gym. Remember for a $3 donation you can throw a pie at either Mrs. Miller or Mrs. Collier or two for $5. We will be set up in the gym. All money raised will be donated to our teachers to buy books for their classrooms.
