
If you are planning to attend the Reading Picnic tomorrow with your Pre-K through 2nd grade student, we have decided to move that to the gym. We will be a bit tight, but you may come and go as your schedule allows. Please feel free to bring your lunch and a chair or blanket to sit on. We will have books ready for you and your child to read. We will be set up in the doorway by the gym for you to check if if you have preregistered.


Reminder that Stanton ISD will dismiss at 1pm this Friday March 31, 2023.

Attention all 3-5 Grade Parents - we will be hosting 2 STAAR information sessions next week. Come learn what your child has been learning and how to best support them on the upcoming tests. Door prizes will be given. Tuesday April 4 8:30 a.m. or 5:30 p.m. in the elementary cafeteria. See you there! We will rock the test!


Stanton ISD is having a parent meeting to discuss the possible addition of volleyball to girl's athletics. A parent meeting will be held Monday, April 3rd at 6:00 in the high school gym. This is for parents of current 5, 6, and 7th grade girls.

PreK through 2nd grade parents, please join us for the 2nd Annual Reading Picnic on Friday March 31st from 10:30-12:00. Bring lunch (students may order a sack lunch from the cafeteria) and join us for a time of reading. Feel free to bring a blanket or chair to sit in. Although the high school is on an alternative schedule Thursday for the UIL meet, Stanton Elementary will have a regular school day with a 3:40 dismissal.

Stanton Elementary is proud to announce our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Kate Brandon. She is one of our 3rd grade reading teachers, and was nominated for this award by her peers for her dedication and love for her students. She is a leader and great mentor for other teachers as well. Stanton Elementary is blessed with amazing teachers that want our children to always be at their best.




March 27 & 28 SES will be offering the Be Safe Program presented by the MRCCAC. This is an accredited prevention program that teaches about safe touches in an age appropriate manner. We ask that all students return the attached note indicating whether parents do or do not want their student to attend. Within the letter you will find the schedule & a link to preview the videos. A physical copy of the letter will be sent home today with all students.
