We had planned to have our bead parade for progress during the 3/4 six weeks today, but we are afraid that the weather will not be warm enough to go outside. We will do this Tuesday.

10:00 start. Buses 2 1/2 hr delay. Teachers will be on campus at 9:30 and we will open back doors for drop offs at that time.
We have exciting events next week here at Stanton Elementary! Monday kicks off Texas Public School Week - Education - It's Bigger Here is the state theme. We are planning some special events, beginning with Open House Monday from 5:30-6:30. We hope all families will stop by and see what things their child has been working on. We will also have our book fair open for families to shop together!
Don't forget that Tuesday 2-22-22, Stanton Elementary will be celebrating 2's Day! Wear a Tutu, find a partner and make a dynamic duo or dress as twins, or wear a 2-22-22 shirt! Be creative and join the fun celebrating this fun day!

Don't forget tomorrow is our last day of the Snowman Competition! You can help your class win a party by sending money to buy cotton balls! Each cotton ball is .25. Winning team will be announced at 3:00 on Thursday. All moneys go toward events and activities for our students.
This week is National School Counselor Week. We want to recognize and thank Mrs. Shafer for all she does with our staff and students. She always shares in our ups and our downs, and makes our school a better place!
There is regular school day today, Monday 2-7-22.
Don't forget our Snowball Challenge this week. Each grade level will compete among each other by buying cotton balls for their snowman. Each one is 25 cents. The winning team wins a party. You have all week to send money which is donated to our SES student activity fund.

Stanton ISD will have a delayed start tomorrow, Friday 2-4-22. Busses will run 2 1/2 hours late and doors will open at 9:45. Classes will start at 10:00 with a 3:00 Friday dismissal.
Stanton ISD will be closed on Thursday 2-3-22. No after school activities either. Please stay tuned for further updates for Friday.
We will be doing an inside dismissal today 2-2-22. Same locations but students will stay in the building until you pull up. Please be patient and we will keep students as warm as possible!
Due to the increased chance of precipitation later this afternoon, we have decided to cancel tutorials for Stanton Elementary students today.
