Busses will run only for the 1:00 dismissal, but if your child would like to stay for reading fun, activities, and snacks, you may pick them up later by 3:00. If you have any questions, please call the office.
This week has been full of celebration! In addition to what we have done, we also want to send appreciation for the great work done by our diagnosticians and maintenance workers. Thanks!
Although we had planned to have the book fair through Friday, you all have been amazing in supporting our school and your students through your purchases; therefore, we will have to end our book fair tomorrow, Thursday. Our inventory is low, but there are still items to be purchased through the end of day. Again, thanks for your support.
Texas Public School Week February 28-March 4, 2022
Stanton ISD kicked off Texas Public School Week Monday morning with a proclamation signing by Sally Poteet, Stanton Mayor. Mrs. Poteet was joined by the leadership team from the elementary along with Student Council Representatives from the middle and senior high schools.
Texas Public School Week is held annually the first week of March in conjunction with Texas Independence Day. This year’s theme is “Education. It’s Bigger Here!” Stanton ISD definitely lives up to that by serving students from pre-k through 12th grade on 3 campuses. In addition to the regular academic courses, Stanton ISD offers a large number of Career and Technical Education courses and athletic opportunities.
Texas Public School Week will be kicked off at Stanton Elementary with an open house held Monday, followed by daily dress up or activity themes.
