Graduation Venue and Time Change.
Due to a facility concern, the district has decided to change the site of graduation from the Auditorium to Buffalo Stadium. With this change in venue, a time change has also been implemented. We will begin graduation at 8:00 pm instead of 7:00 pm. Please get the word out concerning these changes.
There will be no seating limitations and tickets are not required to attend.
Isaiah Ramos, a Junior at Stanton High School, competed at State UIL Academic Competition for Social Studies. This year's topic was the 1960 Rome Olympics. He finished number 13 out of all 3A schools across the state! Isaiah competed last year when the topic was Teddy Roosevelt and the Spanish -American War. He competed virtually his freshman year due to COVID when the topic was Korea. He is excited to compete his senior year with the Roaring Twenties as the topic.

The 2021/2022 Athletic Banquet will be held in the new gym on Tuesday, May 10th starting at 6:00 PM. We will start by recognizing the athletes and giving awards in the gym, there will be a dessert bar and picture opportunities in the commons area following the awards. All athletes are expected to dress in church clothes, still following school dress code. Males are expected to be in a collared shirt and slacks or nice jeans with no holes.
Softball Playoff Shirts are in and ready for pickup at the High School office!
Don't forget that the Martin County Hospital is partnering with the school to provide free physicals for incoming 7th, 9th, and 11th grade students in athletics or band on Thursday, April 28th at the high school fieldhouse. Current middle school students will get their physical starting at 7:45 AM, current 6th graders and high school students will start at 3:00 PM.

Due to facility issues, the band concerts will no longer be at the Auditorium. The HS Band Concert on April 25 will be in the new gym at the high school at 6 pm and the SMS Band Concerts on April 28 will be in middle school gym at 6 pm.

Current 6th and 7th grade parents will meet from 6:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. and current 8th - 11th grade parents will meet from 7:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.
