Thayne has been in San Antonio since Wednesday with the All-State Texas Small School Band. They are working hard and will put on an incredible concert on Saturday morning at the Lila Cockrell Theater in downtown San Antonio. Thayne made it to the All-State Band through months of preparation, hard work, and incredibly tough auditions. Congratulations Thayne on representing yourself and Stanton at the state level!!!!

Congratulations to these SHS Speech and Debate Contestants and their amazing Coach, Mrs. Shipman, bringing home some hardware from Irion County today! Maddie Hull earned 3rd place in Poetry, Kenyon Gee was 2nd in Prose, Olivia Mitchell walked away with 2nd place in Informative Speaking, Kambrie Anderson earned 4th place in Lincoln Douglas Debate, Vanity Olivar Perez took 2nd place in Lincoln Douglas Debate, and Addi Silva and Andrea Ellington were 2nd in CX Debate. Congratulations to our All-Region Band Qualifiers! They put on an outstanding concert on Saturday at the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center alongside the best high school musicians in the Permian Basin. Great job to these hard working students!
