Stanton Elementary will have dress up days for the week of Homecoming September 19-23. Your child may have received a printed copy from their teacher as well, but we wanted to give you all a heads up!

Our radar is showing the possibility of rain at dismissal time, so we want to share this following information in the event that it is raining! PK-2 will dismiss just a bit closer to the intersection of Broadway and Gray through the double doors. 3-5 will hold in the gym and dismiss from there. Meet the Buffs has been cancelled due to the weather! Band has 200 Hamburger meals prepared and will have those ready for sale ($10 per plate) starting at 6:30 in the HS Commons.
Meet the Buffs is rescheduled for 6:30 PM Tuesday August 23rd at the Buffalo Stadium.
Parents, don't forget that every Friday, Stanton ISD releases at 2:50. Pickups have gone very smoothly this year and we appreciate you. Students have done very well this week and we are excited for the year!

Parents of bus riders, please review the following code of conduct and consequences with your student as you prepare for school to start. We want all of our bus riders to arrive at school and home safely and without discipline each day! It is very important that they sit in their seat quietly facing forward at all times.
Registration - Final Call!!!
Wednesday 9a.m.-3p.m. is the last time we will be open for registration to be placed on a class list for Monday's Meet the Teacher night. ALL students must register - new and returning, including those who attended round-up in the spring - and provide proof of residency. If you need to drop off any missing documents, this is the last time to make them complete and be ready for Monday.
We will have the same routes for afternoon pickup this year at Stanton Elementary. Students in Pre-K through 2nd grade will dismiss on Broadway, and then 3-5 will dismiss behind the gyms. Please note the traffic flows on the attached pictures. Remember no cell phones can be used in a school zone. All elementary students dismiss at 3:40 Monday - Thursday and 2:50 on Friday.
In the mornings, Pre-K through 4th enter through the back doors by the cafeteria and 5th graders enter through the Broadway doors. All doors open at 7:35 and close at 8:00. Students who arrive after 8:00 must enter through the front doors and receive a tardy pass.
Don't forget that registration is this week!
